Donate to Your Library

Your donation is needed!

Donations are essential for the Library to continue to provide quality programs, services, and materials for all ages of Library visitors.

While tax based funding and basic building maintenance provided by the City of Brockville covers most of the Library budget, we are increasingly challenged to provide quality resources and programming to meet the needs of our community.

Please give as generously as you can. Your donation will make a difference for people in our community today.

You may donate now by clicking on the Canada Helps Donation Button:

Adopt-a-Book Program:

Purchase a new book for the library and be the first one to read your selection. You will receive a tax receipt and a book plate will be placed in your book in acknowledgment of your thoughtfulness. You can suggest a title of your choice, or ask a staff member.

Donations of Books and other materials:

Brockville Public Library gratefully accepts new or used books and audio-visual materials. Your library resources are enhanced each year through the addition of many generous donations. We welcome your donations with the understanding that these materials become the property of the library to be used at our discretion. Donated items are added to the collection, sold at our annual book sale for fundraising or recycled.

Please see below for general guidelines concerning donations of used materials for our book sale.

Contact Emily at 613.342.3936 ext. 6427 or by email [email protected] to discuss your donation and to arrange a time to drop off your items at the library.
